She was something - she tore my house plants to shreds, commonly had "the stomach flue" everywhere, and chewed her way through the walls like a convict in Shawshank Redemption...and I could care less and miss her still!
Details:
But I wouldn't have had it any other way because she also faithfully watched over me like a body guard, licked my tears when I cried, scootched-up next to me when it was cold, and always, always, always made me feel like the only person who counted! SauSau passed in 2010 and I miss her every day, hope she knows how much, and knows how much I love her.

Just look at that face!!! It has been almost three years since I lost my friend Sans Souci; she was the best dog I have ever known and still to this day I miss her very much.

I can imagine that you miss her very much. They are one of my favorite breeds as well and it's always much harder to lose a pet than anyone thinks.

We love this breed as well. We've never owned Shepherds but we may seriously consider them. Most of our friends who have or have had them are as in love with them as you say you folks were.

She was a dear pet and I always think fondly of her as well. I'm sorry honey. Maybe it is time for you to think about another. She would want you to have someone in your life and another Shepherd would certainly honor her.
